For Money Orders, Telegraph Money Orders, Savings Bank, Inland Revenue Licences, Stamps, &c., from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on week days.
For Telephone and Telegraph Business, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Office is open for the Sale of Stamps and Telegraph business from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Sundays.
Despatches - To Manchester and all parts, 8-30 a.m. And 10-15 a.m. Sheffield and the South, 10-15. Manchester, Liverpool and Lancashire, 12-50 p.m. Dinting and Hadfield, 3-30. Manchester, N. of Ireland and Scotland, 4-50 p.m. Night Mail to all parts, 7-20 p.m. Supplementary Mail to all parts, 9-20 p.m. Parcels -For all parts, 10-15 a.m. 12-50 and 7-20 p.m. Letters may be Registered up to 8-30 p.m.
Deliveries - From all parts, beginning at 7-20 a.m. From London, Manchester, and Lancashire, 2 p.m. From all parts, 5 p.m. To callers, 12-15 p.m.

Open for Money Orders and Savings Bank business, Licences, Registered Letters, Parcels, and Sale of Stamps, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on week days. No Sunday attendance. Box cleared at 9-45 a.m., 12-30, 2-15, 6-45, and 8-30 p.m. on week days. 6 p.m. on Sundays.

High Street West sub-post office. Sub-Postmaster, Mr. G. Kinder. Open for Money Orders and Savings Bank business, Licences, Registered Letters, Parcels, and Sale of Stamps, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on week days. No Sunday attendance. Box cleared at 9-15 a.m., 2-15 and 6-45 p.m. Sundays, 5-30 p.m.
